The SEEDiA J-Charge Wrocław installation delivers four fully solar-powered, completely off-grid charging stations for electric bicycles, implemented as part of the Concordia Booster Program. The stations strengthen Wrocław’s Smart City infrastructure and support sustainable commuting across the city.
Strategic Locations Supporting Urban Mobility
Four stations were deployed in high-traffic public areas:
Each location was selected to support cyclists combining micromobility with rail, tram and bus transport.
Fully Solar, 100% Off-Grid Charging
All SEEDiA J-Charge Wrocław stations operate exclusively on solar energy.
They are not connected to the electrical grid, ensuring:
-
independent, off-grid operation
-
zero energy cost for the city
-
CO₂-free charging
-
resilience during power outages
-
installation flexibility with no need for wiring
Users can safely park and charge their electric bicycles at any time of day using clean, renewable solar power.
UrbMap App Integration and User Authorisation
The stations are integrated with the UrbMap mobile application, enabling:
-
user authorisation
-
reservation of charging spots
-
viewing real-time availability
-
access to charging history
-
optional mobile payments (if activated by the operator)
Authorisation guarantees secure, controlled use of the infrastructure.
Smart Data Management Through InCity.io
All stations synchronise data with the InCity.io platform, including:
