5 SEEDiA benches were placed in the Silesian Voivodeship under the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe investing in rural areas. The purchase from the EU subsidy included 3 solar benches in the Urban Bike model and 2 solar benches in the Urban Classic model in Ustroń.
The whole undertaking is “Modernization of the walking path in the Jaszowiec district and installation of intelligent solar city benches in the public space”. Its aim is to provide residents, tourists and patients with recreational and tourist infrastructure that promotes active leisure and healthy lifestyle. Co-financed by the European Union under the measure “Support for local development under the LEADER initiative” of the Rural Development Program for 2014-2020.
