Busko-Zdrój is a spa municipality located in the southern part of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship (Poland). At the beginning of 2021, the largest and at the same time most modern brine graduation towers in Poland were opened in the new Spa Park.
SEEDiA solar benches complemented this important investment for the region. Two devices – Future and New Urban – were installed in close proximity to the graduation tower and the children’s playground.
Another two Future benches were placed on Kusocińskiego Street, near the Skate Park. This place is particularly frequented by young people, who like to charge their phones.
Features
All devices are equipped with USB ports, inductive chargers and LED lighting to improve the visibility of the benches and the safety of public places. Users can locate the devices via the SEEDiA City mobile app. The intuitive app also presents interesting bench statistics such as total number of charges, percentage of battery charge and Co2 saved.
Incity.io managment platform
The benches implemented in Busko-Zdrój have an InCity.io cloud service built in. It allows the authorities to remotely monitor the status of the device, analyse the number of users, display a map with the location, and present the sensor data in the form of graphs.
After 3 months of installation, they show nearly 17,000 user interactions and 500 charged mobile devices. The graphs show that the benches have already saved 28 kg of Co2.
