On September 30, we saw the premiere of the new series “Poland is changing” on the National Geographic channel. It was prepared jointly with the Ministry of Investment and Development. This is a series showing how much is changing in our country, thanks to the use of support programs financed by the European Union and EFTA countries. In each of the nine episodes, two unique initiatives are presented. We have: infrastructure, culture, transformation in Silesia, startups, health, environmental protection, electromobility, energy and innovation. National Geographic perfectly shows the extraordinary pace at which Poland has changed since its accession to the European Union 15 years ago.
SEEDiA performed in the first episode devoted to urban infrastructure. Piotr Hołubowicz – founder of SEEDiA – talked about the establishment of the company, European Funds, problems that accompany urban infrastructure and how SEEDiA solves them on a daily basis. Viewers could learn how well-designed benches or bus shelters can have a positive impact on the natural environment and what the process of creating solar benches looks like straight from the company’s assembly plant.
