Innovative Seedia implementation in Szczecin

The number of solar benches in Poland is constantly growing, as well as the number of people who are more and more aware of ecology and the environment. Szczecin is the city that leads in innovative implementations. Due to the participatory budget, six solar benches have been placed in the Gumieńce estate and in its neighborhood. The idea was submitted in 2017. Mr. Michał Wilkocki is responsible for the design of those benches.

Ławka solarna w Szczecinie

The SEEDiA City solar bench is characterized by a modular construction, due to which we can create up to 3 intelligent bench configurations from the basic elements. This implementation shows how different and unique benches can be depending on the location. Simple, without backrest, classic with backrest or bench with integrated bike racks, i.e. City Bike. Its functionality is highlighted by LED lighting and a hotspot with internet which gives the city additional marketing and promotional opportunities.

See how the Szczecin benches look and how much they brought to the city infrastructure! Hopefully more and more cities will be able to show such implementations and be more innovative, and as a result – ecological in the interest of our environment!
